2026 MGS All-Star Interest Form
The Moorpark Girls Softball Association (MGS) is excited to announce that we will soon be selecting our 2026 All-Star Tournament Teams!
We plan to form both GOLD and SILVER teams in 8U, Possibly GOLD and SILVER teams 10U division, 12U One Gold. For 6U, our goal is to field 2 Balanced Teams.
All-Star Commitment Overview
Participation in All-Stars is a competitive and exciting opportunity that requires full commitment from both players and families. Please carefully review the information below before submitting your interest form.
Key Dates & Fees

Mandatory Player/Parent Meeting:
Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Location: Arroyo Vista
This meeting is mandatory for all selected players and a parent or guardian.

All-Star Season Fees (6U–12U):
All fees are due in full at the parent meeting.

Uniform Package:
All All-Star players (6U–12U) are required to purchase the official All-Star uniform package.

Team Fundraising:
Teams may choose to participate in fundraising efforts to help offset or reimburse costs.
League Fundraising: Players will have one mandatory league fundraiser.
Volunteer Requirement
To support our Moorpark Tune-Up Tournament, each family is required to contribute up to 6 volunteer hours per player.

A $100 fee is included at the parent meeting.

If volunteer hours are completed, Money will be returned after hours are completed. Via your choice of payment

If not completed, the payment will be kept.
Tournament & Practice Commitment
-
Tournament Play:
All teams will compete in weekend tournaments (Friday–Sunday) throughout May and June and possible some of July, including USA District Play and additional tournaments if teams qualify. Overnight travel may be required.
Parental supervision is required.

Practices:
Begin on Monday May 4 and may be held daily at the manager’s discretion.
Managers will provide development opportunities and will have sole discretion over positions and playing time. Missing practices could potentially mean cut playing time at tournaments.
Important Policies

Being selected for an All-Star team is an honor and a serious commitment.

If selected for a GOLD team, you may not decline to play for a SILVER team.
-
If selected for a Silver/Bronze team and you decline participation after notification, you will be ineligible for All-Stars and Select the following year.

By submitting the interest form, you are committing to play on the team you are selected for.

SILVER teams may compete against GOLD teams in some tournaments.
-
Attendance is required for all practices and games.
Please note any planned absences on your interest form.
Failure to notify may result in being replaced or removed from the team.
Team Selections
Selected players will be announced the morning of Saturday, May 2 via yard signs and email notification.

Eligibility Requirements
-
Players must participate in at least 75% of their MGS recreational season games.
-
Players who have played with any other league, AllStar, or travel team after March 31 are not eligible.
