RECREATIONAL FALL BALL INFO.
Fall Ball season runs for 8 weeks starting in September. All games are on Sundays, with teams playing a double header each week. Each age group is at a different location. 8U location TBD, 10U location TBD , and 12U teams location TBD. The cost will be around $100 per player plus whatever jersey or shirt that your team chooses (normally around $20-$25). Fall Ball is low key- score is kept during the game but there are no standings or trophies.
Fall Ball is not governed by the MGS league. MGS is one of several leagues that participate in a program to provide players with additional opportunities to play and practice through the cooperation of coaches and participating teams from the surrounding area. MGS does not fund any Fall Ball teams. The number of available teams is based on the number of volunteer managers and interested players. MGS will do everything possible to assist in matching players to teams. While the intent is for every player to find a team, MGS cannot not guarantee that outcome. Every effort will be made to secure managers so that every girl who registers will be placed on a team.
